Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how GFX CreatorScope ("we", "us", "our", "the Service") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data when you use our application at https://creator-productivity-app.vercel.app (the "App"). GFX CreatorScope is operated by a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. For any privacy questions or requests, contact us at: grizzlycreatorscope@grizzlyfx.co.uk. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who we are (Data Controller)

For the purposes of UK data protection law, the data controller is the operator of GFX CreatorScope, a UK-based sole trader. You can reach us at grizzlycreatorscope@grizzlyfx.co.uk.

2. What data we collect

Account information: Your email address and an encrypted password, used to create and secure your account. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth; we do not store your password in plain text. An optional display name you choose.

Content you create in the App: Projects, video ideas, scripts, notes, tasks, filming schedules, templates, and other workflow content you enter. Files you upload, such as thumbnail images and brand assets, stored in secure cloud storage.

Connected platform data (YouTube): If you connect your YouTube account, we receive and store access and refresh tokens that allow the App to retrieve your channel and video analytics on your behalf. We retrieve data such as your video titles, view counts, retention metrics, and channel information to display analytics and insights. We only request the permissions necessary, and access this data solely to provide the Service to you.

Usage and technical data: Basic technical information necessary to operate the App. We aim to collect the minimum necessary.

3. How we use your data

To create and maintain your account and authenticate you; store and display the content and files you create or upload; retrieve and display your connected platform analytics; provide AI-powered features (see Section 4); maintain security and integrity; and respond to support requests.

Legal bases (UK GDPR): (a) performance of a contract — to provide the Service; (b) your consent — e.g. connecting your YouTube account; and (c) our legitimate interests — to keep the Service secure and functioning. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time (e.g. by disconnecting YouTube in Settings).

4. AI features and third-party processing

GFX CreatorScope includes AI-powered features (content health scoring, thumbnail critique, script assistance). To provide these, relevant content you submit (e.g. a thumbnail image or script text) is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, which processes it to generate the feature's output and returns the result. We only send the specific content needed, and we do not use your data to train AI models ourselves.

5. Who we share your data with (Sub-processors)

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate the App, who process it on our behalf under appropriate data protection terms:

  • Supabase (database, authentication, file storage);
  • Vercel (application hosting);
  • Anthropic (AI processing);
  • Google / YouTube (when you connect your YouTube account, to retrieve analytics, governed also by Google's own terms and privacy policy).

These providers may process data outside the UK; where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) as required by UK GDPR.

6. Google/YouTube data

The App's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically: we access your YouTube data only to provide the analytics and workflow features within the App; we do not transfer this data to others except as needed to provide or improve these features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger/acquisition with appropriate protections; we do not use this data for advertising; and we do not allow humans to read this data unless we have your consent, it is necessary for security or to comply with law, or the data is aggregated/anonymised. You can disconnect your YouTube account at any time within the App's Settings, which revokes our stored access. You can also review and revoke the App's access via your Google Account security settings.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, or request deletion, we will delete your personal data and content within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations. Request deletion at grizzlycreatorscope@grizzlyfx.co.uk.

8. How we protect your data

Your data is stored in secured cloud infrastructure (Supabase) with access controls (Row Level Security) that restrict each user's data to that user. Uploaded files are stored in access-controlled storage scoped to your account. Connections use encryption in transit (HTTPS). Authentication credentials are handled securely by Supabase Auth. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures.

9. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold;
  • rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • erase your data;
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • data portability;
  • and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

To exercise these, contact grizzlycreatorscope@grizzlyfx.co.uk; we respond within the timeframes required by law (usually one month). You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) — https://ico.org.uk.

10. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a revised "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
